GoData allows the geographic display of
dynamic and/or static database on interactive European map.
It asks for, like precondition, the basic service GoMap.
Find points of interest
Geo-localization on European interactive and
extremely detailed maps of points of interest
belonging to the customer database (e.g. hotels, restaurants,
pharmacies...) by personalized and interactive icons.
Standard Database on Maps
Map and Go makes available a lot of information sorted for
categories depending on the area of interest.
For example:
- Airports, service areas (highway, car repair facility, car
rental, car dealers, car parks, service stations, rail stations
and motorway interchanges
- Cinema, museums, theatres, and convention centres
- Pharmacies hospitals, local health corporations and
private clinic
- Restaurants, pizzerias, ethnic restaurants, taverns
- Hotels
- Post Offices
- etc.
Multicriteria research of the points of interest
located on the map
GODATA makes many research options for Points of Interest available:
proximity (the nearest point...), geographic area (region, town...),
category, directly on the map and many others, depending on
customer's specific requirements. The results of the search can
be visualized both on maps and in appropriate tables.
Points of Interest details
Many details can be visualized in a personalized pop-up such as:
opening hours, closing days, addresses, telephone number.
The information is displayed by clicking the icon of P.O.I.
on the map and/or by selecting the name of the P.O.I. in the table
(procedure without pop-up).
Personalized routes (on foot, the fastest
one, the shortest one...) from or to a selected Point of Interest
are shown on the map and detailed in a textual way

GODATA service is supplied in "outsourcing" (database of the points of
interest host on server farm of Mizar Mediaservice).
The service includes:
- Safety of the customer database protected by User ID and
specific password
- Availability of the service: 24 hours on 24, 365 days a year
- Fast Access 2 Mb by HDSL

Time of reintroduce of the service in case of blocking anomalies:
- From 7 am to 11 pm : within 2 hours
- From 11 pm to 7 am: within 4 hours
- Link to platform for the monitoring of the log-in on the MapServer
in real time and whenever you like
The database management (to modify and delete points already existing) can
be performed also by the customer thanks to a specific web administration module.
GODATA is in XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2.0 standard. It results compatible with
all the more spread browser as Internet Explorer, Netscape and Opera.
